kannazuki No Miko is the story of Himeko Kurusugawa and Chikane Himemiya, the reincarnations of the Solar and Lunar Priestesses. Both girls currently attend the Ototachibana Academy located in a small Japanese town. All is peacefull untill Himeko and Chikane's 16th birthday, the first day of October (known as the godless mounth). A black sun rises into the sky followed by the re-awakening of the Orochi an ancient and very powerfull evil. The first attempt to kill Himeko was caused by S?ma ?gami the boy in love with Himeko and also the 7th neck of the Orochi. S?ma ?gami picked up Himeko in the hand of his mech ready to kill her but after looking at what he was about to do S?ma ?gami somehow repelles the evil infulence of the Orochi and vows to protect Himeko no matter what happens. Now its up to the two Priestesses to awaken Ame no Murakumo a ancient and powerfull mech to combat the Orochi while S?ma ?gami attemps to repell the evil within him to protect Himeko and Chikane from the other Orochi members.
