Can't login from portal homepage after upgrade

Hi, I'm having a problem - I had vb 3.5rc1 running and vbadvanced working fine. this weekend, I upgraded to 3.5rc2 and then updated my gobal.php. Everything seems to work except I can't log in from the homepage (nothing happens after I click) and I am getting a logout error when I try to log out.

Any ideas on where to look?

Are you trying to log in from the navbar, or the welcome block module?

welcome block, my navbar is a custom style. Strange it just stopped work.

I also just notice that if I use the quick reply box, the post goes through, but you just stay on the page and the page doesn't update (to show your last post)
both of these worked fine before updating 3.5rc2.

Looks like the problem is that you turned the 'Use Module Shell' option off and didn't put the form code in the template. Edit the module, copy the content for the 'Form Code' option, and place that in your template.
