I tried to install vBadvanced 2.0 like 3 times on my 3.0.8 forums, and each time I must have screwed up because nothing would work. I already set up my forums the way I like them so I don't want to screw up any more.

I'm willing to pay for professional installation, but I have few questions before I do so.

How long does it take to get the portal installed after I order installation?
I have a custom skin ( www.dead-eternity.net/forums ), so will it be possible to get installed with the current skin? I don't want it to look wierd, so I hope it'll fit the skin I have.
When I have the portal installed, can I turn blocks on and off? For example I wouldn't want to have recent threads, users online, etc stuff on the homepage. Would that be possible?

I tried, and I suck at installing mods... :(

Thanks in advance,

Chronoz

If you'd like to just have us install the script for you then of course that's fine. If you would rather give a little more information about the exact problem(s) you were having though we'll be glad to help you out.

Installations are generally completed within 24 hours after the order.

You may have to modify a couple of image paths in your CSS so that they will point to the full URL for each, but that should be about it. Though you may want to note that skins like that will not look exactly the same on the CMPS pages, though it still shouldn't be too hard to make them match exactly as long as you're familiar with HTML. For a good example of the difference, see this link:

Yes, turning modules off is just a matter of checking a box or selecting 'No' on a radio button. :)

Well, to be honest, I don't know what is the problem. I follow the instructions in the read me file, I edit the files, and I upload them. Then I go to the Install file, it shows me AdminCP login, I login, and it's a blank page. All pages are blank expect actual AdminCP and the Install file for CMPS which leads me to blank page. I guess I edit files correctly and I update the cmps_index. :/ I have no clue what I'm doing wrong. If it was the path to my forums on the server I'd get incorrect path error, but I don't get it, instead everything is blank.

Admin CP => vBulletin Options => Cookies and HTTP Header Options => GZIP HTML Output

Try turning that option off and see if the install script will work afterwards.
