What on earth is the calendar's purpose?

Are they supposed to be clickable? Are you supposed to be able to add events to the calendar? I've yet to see one that was either, and I've yet to find where even the Admin could add events to the calendar, so I've finally reached the point of asking what on earth its purpose is?

It just links to your vBulletin calendar. If a day has events on it, it will be clickable.

If you click on Calendar, you will see Add New Event box in the bottom right of the page.
