Question regarding use with vb 3.5

I hope this is the right forum, and I'm sorry if it's not.

I am curious if a version is being planned that would allow for no file edits, or if this is just too unrealistic. Also, would someone be so kind as to inform me of how many file edits there currently are when used with 3.5? I assume as much use of the product manager/plugins as can be used IS used. If that makes sense.

It's a great product, but I have grown weary and tired of constantly changing files for every minor update. :(

With the 3.5 version there are 3 changes necessary for your global.php file. The plugin system could be used for one of those, but there is no plugin avialable for the other two.

There is only one required file edit and one optional.

Guess these file edits will not be required when vBulletin add a plugin location for them.

Thanks guys. I think I may go ahead and use it. 3 edits is practically nothing. Especially since it's all in one file.

I do hope my dream will come true, and I will not actually need any edits to use your awesome CMS.
