News is not showing

After upgrading from 1.0.1 to 2.0, news module is not working. Everything works expect that News module, it won't show up or drag news from announcment forum.

Is your 'Maximum Number of Threads to Display' option set to something other than 0? You may also want to try using the option in the install file to reinstall your templates and see if that helps. Also, edit your 'Default / Homepage' page and make sure your settings for those options are the same there. If none of those things help, please submit a support ticket via the Members' Area here and I'll be glad to take a look.

Do you have a valid forum that contains threads selected as the forum to pull news posts from? When you modify that setting or the limit settings, does it show that either of those settings are customized in any of your pages?

Go there and you will see the news options on that page.

Yes Brian, the module is active, a valid forum with the name News is selected also a special thread is selected, tried to choose another forum or to change the module name, but it is absolutly showing nothing anywhere. The module itself is not visible on the cmps page, same as it is switched to not active but it is.
The news.php (vBadvanced CMPS v2.0.0 (vB 3.5)) is also in the modules folder.

Go there and you will see options on that page to choose which forum(s) or which thread(s) you would like to display.
