Wondered if anyone would mind looking at the default style I have up and give me your thoughts...thanks!

I like it.. It is easy to navigate around, but there is one thing I just dont like at all. That is the red buttons on the top.

hehe...the style comes with fully sliced and layered PSD's so that wouldn't be hard to change...how'd you like the gatlin guns on the sides? ;)

nice... but
what i dislike with the style on the top page is the left margin..
i was surfing in a small window and still had the same margin and had to scroll sideways... on the bigger screen 1200x + its ok.. because its centered.. but as the backbround image (that makes the margin ) is not the same color.. you can see the 90 or something pixels are different than the rest of the background...
I would take it away or use transparant graphics..

Lyrical looks very much like vBStyles Aria theme to me.... exact same java rollover efects, nearly the same colours in thsoe as well.

DigitalStatic looks very similar to vBStyles Hex10sion theme to me too...

Hey John,

You're not the first to make that comparison. I will admit they resemble them only in that Lyrical uses fading java rollovers and nothing else resembling Aria (and is written for vb 3.5). DigitalStatic is dark with a flash header (which, btw, was created by me in swishmax, not flash). I assure you they are my creations and coding.

It takes a good man to come back and defend his work like that, particularly after such comments (which weren't meant to offend by the way, just to openly comment). Good for you sir... good for you, and fine styles they are too.

Thanks John, I appreciate that (no offense taken, btw). I have to admit there was some inspiration from vbstyles and after looking closer I have decided that Lyrical too closely resembles Aria...so to avoid any question of impropriety I have decided to remove it from my site. I don't want there to be any question in anyone's mind as to the legitimacy of the work. Thanks again for the kind remarks!
