Last attachment

Is there any way to display on the main page the last attachment uploaded by a user? Also, the welcome block login tab order seems to be screwed up, instead of jumping to password after username it tabs to everything else landing on password last, is this right?

As far as I'm aware nobody has created an attachment module like that.
