When I type in www.vbadvanced.com I get your CMPS page.

How do I do that for my site ?

Right now I have mine set to redirect on my server from http://www.wetjets.net to http://www.wetjets.net/forums/ where my CMPS page is displayed. I have since changed the redirect to http://www.wetjets.net/forums/forums.php so that people can still access while I'm tinkering with the CMPS

I haven't fooled too much yet but I notice there is no link at the top to goto the forums @ http://www.wetjets.net/forums/forums.php
I'm sure that is an easy fix that I haven't found yet.

Thanks in advance for any help.

put the cmps_index.php file in your root, not in forums and it will do what you are wanting

Do I have to change anything else or just move the cmps_index.php file and the rest will take care of itself ?

Thanks again !!

You'll want to rename your forums.php back to index.php and update that setting in the AdminCP.

And depending on the path you used when you edited cmps_index.php, you may need to edit it again and update the path to your forums directory. There's also a setting in the CMPS AdminCP where you tell it the URL to the cmps_index.php, so you'll need to edit that as well.

Thanks a ton !!!

So far so good !!!

If somebody with more experience than I has time, I'd love for you to see if I have it right.

www.wetjets.net

I won't do any tweaking to the cmps page until I know everything is ok so far.

I have noticed that my links at the top do not work.
user cp, member list, faq, and etc.

I have also noticed that only part of the Red2Black skin is being applied to the CMPS page. Did I miss something in the setup ?

You need to edit the style's CSS and change all the image paths to be absolute paths most likely.

I just found where that is. Is there an instruction sheet for dummies on this anywhere ?

Thanks again !!

PS. I figured out how to get the links to work. :)
