What to do first?

We're runnning the latest version of vbulletin on our website. We have an older vbulletin board that we want to merge with our current board using the new vb import script. We also want to install vBadvanced CMPS. Should we merge the boards first, or does it matter?

I would personally merge the boards first, before I hacked anythign into it.

It might matter. I would do the migration first like Zedd advised then add hacks you want. Will really help you if you need to troubleshoot an error doing the import stage 1st.

Yes, I agree. Get the forums up and running before adding the portal.. It will most definately save you some headaches.
