OK - Im html challenged, to put it mildly.

SO -- im looking for help. I think CMPS can be alot more then a homepage portal..... For some time, I have been looking for an article system so that I could place a number of how to articles on my site. I think this would be applicable to many different sites, so I think this could be a great module setup

What I would need is a "how to" to make this happen with CMPS -- As I see it there would need to be an Article link page - then individual article pages.

The more "automated" this could be, the better.

Anyone interested in this ?

lol how to, an article system is a major hack and so a howto wouldnt be sufficient.

What about creating a new page that would pull the articles from a different forum? Just about anything else would *probably* require a bit of work.

Well -- My thought would be - to create a new page which would be the entry portal to the articles, then a new page for each individual article.

All of this would be in the center block.

Where the automated part would come in is where those pages are created. My thought would be a box that would come up where you would Create the title, choose the catagory where the title would be placed, and and area where you would construct the article itself.

This is something that Marijuana.Com is currently working on. Brian is right, though, the easiest way to do this would be to create a <hidden?> forum to organize the articles and then a simple script to pull the titles and print to a new module.

We're going for something with a bit more depth. I would really like to see partial content with IPN for purchase of full content along with subscription services for periodically released content.

This is more of a discussion for vbulletin.org - this add-on would easily integrate with vBaCMPS with proper development.
