We have just finished upgrading vBadvanced.com to vBulletin 3.5.0. The upgrade seems to have gone smoothly without any problems, but it's always possible there may be a couple of small bugs remaining. If anyone does have any problems after the upgrade please let us know. Other than that, we hope everyone enjoys the new features of vB 3.5 here. :)

There are some bugs... Errors in the links in the navbar (some have no /forum/ so thery result in 404) The style does not change, there is no left cloumn in members area, as it used to... But I think they'll be solved so congrats!!

Switch to the vBadvanced Style and the images are fine.

Thanks for pointing that out. Should be fixed now. :)

The style does not change
What exactly do you mean? In the quick style changer, or where exactly?

there is no left cloumn in members area, as it used to
That was done intentionally. I don't really see much of a reason to keep it there, so figured I would remove it to have a little less clutter on those pages.

Make sure you do a hard refresh on the editor screen, or clear your browser cache. You probably have old JS cached.

I didn't mean it does not change at all, but it needs refreshing to change...

I think the reason Brian hasn't "tricked out" the site by installing some amazing style is because if he did, some people might get the wrong impression that the style woudl come as part of vbadvanced products or something. I know it sounds crazy to us, but to someone who might be new at this stuff, they might buy it, not see same style, and bother him with unnecessary support inquiries, etc...

yes the style here is "simple", but it's clean and pleasant on the eyes.

I definitely prefer simple styles anyway. Even on broadband, sites with tons of graphics/borders/backgrounds/etc are noticeably slower.

I agree with you, it's nice to have these fancy great looking styles, but some of them are to graphic intensive and load to slow. I'd sooner have the speed over looks. Which is why I use vBDefault style to view all 3 vb sites.

I'm having the same problem on my site, but only with certain users. Most users work fine.

Add "profile.php" to your Footer Replacements section.

I agree, I like to keep things simple as well. But I'm a css color fan. :D

Those files already exist in your vBulletin installation. CMPS is not supposed to come with those. http://www.ncturnal.com/smiles/disturbed.gif

If you need help with one of our products please post in the appropriate support forum, not a thread that has nothing to do with the product at all.

That link, or clicking through from the portal page itself - does not complete for me. I get No License Number specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator

And the administrator link doesn't work either - gives me Page Cannot Be Found and the URL in the address bar tries to go to http://www.vbadvanced.com/[ARG:2%20UNDEFINED]

Is this software no longer free?

Look for your registration email: Action Required to Activate Membership for vBadvanced Forums

Once you do that, you can get it...
