I have just finished installing VBa and I am having some problems.
The index page is all out of whack.
1. Takes ages to load.
2. There is a weird gap on the top of the right column.
3. The spacing between left and center column seems to be ok, but the spacing between the center and right column is all messed up.
Any idea what is causing all this?
Thanks a lot!

Ok, I have been playing with the modules and it seems like the Quick Moderation module just screws everything up. Not sure why, but it kills the server and make the index forever to laod.
Any idea?
The gap and spacing issue is still there. Argh!

Cool.
Did you get the weird gap issue figured out?
I figured out why the calendar wasnt showing up. I needed to add the calendar ID in the settings.

The weird gap issue is resolved. I had to disable the vBcode in the news. I guess somehow the images in the news are screwing up the layout.
Any ideas?

Can you post a link to your site so I can see what you're talking about?

Oops, sorry.
I think I figured it all out, but I cannot use [img] code in my news or the spacing will get all messed up.

Your site loaded near insnatly for me
Are you on a dedicated or shared server?
Your Page generation times are about the same as my 600mhz local server :/

Yeah, right now it loads very good. However, if I activate the Quick Moderation, it will be loading in 30 sec+.
Also, I had to disable the vBcode for the news, as it would mess with the right column spacing, aliignment, etc.
Yes, I am on dedicated server. With 27k members and gazillions gb in bandwidth, thats the only way to go, haha.
Thanks!

You should try asking Eva2000 at vB.com for a sever optimization ;D

My personal site has somewhat similar stats to yours... Over 1/2 million posts, 50,000 threads, but only about 5,000 members. The Quick Moderation module works fine there, but it may be the number of members that's causing you a problem. If you would like to fill out a support ticket via the Members Area here though I'll be more than happy to take a look and see what's causing the problm.
