I'm about to upgrade my vb 3.0.8 (with vbcmps2.0) to vb 3.5, should I uninstall vbcmps first ?

How would I uninstall it please ?

I could really do with a quick response. :)

Probably best to leave it. Just upgrade your vbulletin then run the upgrade script for CMPS. That's what I did and it worked fine. Not fogetting to replace all the CMPS files for the vbulletin 3.5 ones of course.
