Can vBadvanced and vBulletin be configured to read all user data (username, password, groups etc) off an LDAP server instead of from the database?

If not possible. What would you do to make it possible to share user credentials between - for example - a phpBB forum using LDAP and vBulletin. Such as managing that through Apache's autentisation.

vBa relies upon vB making the network & DB connections. Your best bet would be trying the support guys at vb.com & vb.org to see what they say about having vB talk to LDAP.
