use php includes on a page

I am trying to use phpincludes in VbAdvanced on pages. for example I have this page called stadiums.html I want it to be included in a page (new page on VBA) using phpincludes can anyone please tell me how to do this. If possible post a step by step guide.

Why not just add a HTML page and select that file as the file to include instead?

Ok I added a new page and selected the html file now html file doesnt display, I unchecked all the modules in center and right columns so that the html page can be displayed there but no luck, what happens is that the left modules stretch right across the page.

Ok got it, had to enable the custom page content module :)
