How do I change and create links on the top nav bar, as on this page (Home, User CP, FAQ, Members List etc.)?

Just edit your 'navbar' template though the Style Manager in your admin cp and add the links where you'd like.

In style manager I went to my default style and double clicked navbar, which brought to me the window: "Customize Template: navbar", where I can then edit the code. I don't know how to modify this script, and I don't know if I'm where I'm supposed to be. How do I go about this?
