Hello~
When I installed this, the installation went smoothly.
However, this what I was presented with when I tried to view it.
Any suggestions on what I did wrong?
Thanks,
Aaron

The path to your forum is wrong on line 19 in the index.php file for CMPS.
what does line 19 say?
Aaron

you forgot your username in that path, or your webspace username.
chdir('/home/aaron/public_html/forum');
etc.

admin CP / Style Options / default style / << >> / image paths
enter this /forum/images/misc/critterparadise2.jpg

Hmm... that's what it's set to in the Admin CP.
That's the only style it happens to.
I hate so sound so dumb, but there are some little boxes (two noticable ones near the top of the my first news thread.)
Any ideas what that is about?
Thanks,
Aaron

Those boxes are this: http://www.critterparadise.com/forum/www.critterparadise.com/forum/clear.gif
Try entering the full URL to your images like http://www.critterparadise.com/forum/images/
Did you set that up on the install?
Glad ya got it going.

Wow, you all are great here!
It's fixed!
Now my only other question is
about the default style logo; how do I get it back up?
Thanks Again,
Aaron

Actually, seems the first two styles "Critter Paradise Default" & "Metalic" experience this problem.
Thanks,

Your images should all show up if you followed all the steps in the install... Did you skip a few?
Aaron

Actually, I skipped nothing.... I went slowly... real slow.. lol
Thanks,

http://www.critterparadise.com/forum/www.critterparadise.com/forum/clear.gif seems you double entered the path.

Have you set up your index page? Nothing is showing up there.. On you index page the logo is trying to be pulled from your computer

www.critterparadise.com/cmps_index.php (http://www.critterparadise.com/cmps_index.php) is where it's at for now.
Once it's done correctly I set it to index.php, right?
Thanks,
Aaron

Right. If you had your host upload any of the files and they accessed your account through a shell they may have forgotten to change the access back from root..

I am so confused :(
Not sure what I keep doing wrong.
I try my best to listen to instructions
but I guess for some reason it won't work...

My only advise would be to go to the members area and submit a trouble ticket.. Maybe Brian can help you..

You've renamed it to index.php ?
Is index.php set up in your php.ini file? Your host may have to set that up, but I'm sure it's in there.

I don't see how you'd be having a problem like this. If you'd like to submit a support ticket via the Members Area here though I'll be glad to take a look.

Thanks, Brian. :)
I'll submit a ticket.
