Hi,
I had everything working well for about two weeks. vbadvanced and the forum. The forum works fine but my index page (vbadvanced) has errors. I am on a windows server. I have my index file in the same folder as my forum. Someone please help...
Warning: main(./includes/vba_cmps_include_template.php): failed to open stream: No error in C:\Inetpub\vhosts\*******.NET\httpdocs\global.php on line 17
Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required './includes/vba_cmps_include_template.php' (include_path='.;./includes;./pear') in C:\Inetpub\vhosts\*******.net\httpdocs\global.php on line 17
I've gone through this site looking for answers and i've found nothing that will fix this problem. I've edited out the chdir line in my index file, even uploaded a file called forumpath to determine correct path, nothing works. I am certain its my permissions. What I can't figure out is why it was working for nearly two weeks and now it is not, only 3 users have visited the site (its still in development)
Thanks. PLEASE HELP SOMEONE!!!!

I've even gone as far as given FULL permissions on the files.. and still I have errors.

In addition, my admincp works fine except there is a warning at the top of the page before I login
Warning: is_dir(): Stat failed for ./cpstyles/vba_cp_logo.gif (errno=22 - Invalid argument) in \includes\adminfunctions.php on line 3034
I am able to log in fine. But this error line wasn't present the last two weeks until today when I had errors on my index (vbadvanced page).
Someone please help us window server users. Thanks.

Looks like it might have something to do with daylight savings time... But that doesnt make sense since my error is have trouble accessing global.php. Website was working fine till this morning :-(

We are having the same problem at www.tennesspeed.net
The server was fine prior to midnight last night (daylight savings time) so it must be something there.

Wow glad to hear I am not the only one, I was on the verge of pulling out my hair. Not glad you have problems.. ahh that didnt come out right, you know what i mean :-).
I'm gonna try putting up a brand new forum & vbadvanced on another domain name and see how that turns out. However I would like a solution to this problem without having to install a fresh copy.

I'll be watching this thread throughout the day. If you happen to stumble across a fix, please be sure to post it. I'll do the same.

Looks like your includes/vba_cmps_include_template.php file is missing. Try downloading the package from here again and upload that file.

I know for a fact that my vba_cmps_include_template.php file is on the server as I was just looking at it earlier wondering what line #17 was. So that's not the issue. It's got something to do with the DST change this morning.

Hey Nemo... what version of PHP do you have on your server? I only ask because I am running an older version and thought I might upgrade to see if that fixes anything. We both appear to be on Windows servers. I'm on Windows Server 2003 with Sp2. You?

Doesn't look like the file is there to me...

Nope... the file is very much there. The "No input file specified" error has been kicked back ever since DST changed. *shrug*
I am getting ready to update PHP on my server to a newer version. Will advise if that fixes this.

If the file was there then you would not get that error message when going straight to the file.

The file is there.

Why don't you humor me, download the package from here again, and upload all of the files in the package over your existing ones?

I reuploaded all of the files from the CMPS archive and it started working again. This really makes no sense as NONE of those files were tampered with or altered in any way from their original state. SOMETHING having to do with the DST changeover on Windows Server has to have "broken" the original files.
Very weird.

You and I were thinking the same thing apparently. See my previous post. Very odd!

Well I think this constitutes an "I told you so". :p
That's very weird indeed that a file would just disappear like that, but I knew there was no way it was there if you were getting that error. Either way, I'm glad you got things worked out. :)

The file was actually there, which is even weirder. I simply copied it back over from the original archive and it magically started working again. *shrug*
