I want it to. I have been messing with getting this to work. I would like to link into something standard like Real Audio since most people have that. Throw your ideas out on this and lets see what we can come up with. People like background music when they are reading forums. This mod would be quite popular.

You can find one on my site Retrofire - Rockets & Robots (http://www.retrofire.com) It uses a script found here: http://javascript.internet.com/miscellaneous/js-internet-radio-tuner.html
Just put this Module in the Module Add-on section.

We used this on a site a while back, it's really easy, you use this script on your computer to make .swf files out of mp3s (we were using songs from local bands represented on the site). I think the .swf files were about half the size of the mp3s.

If your looking for a player to output canned streams from your site give Wimpy Player a try. Comes in two versions, a button and a full blown player. The player can be used as a popup so you won't lose focus.
Wimpy Player (http://www.wimpyplayer.com)
There is also WimpyAV for video output.
Dee Snider (Twisted Sister) seems to like it... not sure thats a good thing?

This is very cool and I really needed it. The Wimpy button is all I needed and it cost $25. I bought it right away. Thanks for the tip on this cool little tool.
