How do I stop new modules defaulting to 'on' on every single page ?

As title, whenever I add a module to the main page, it automatically makes itself visible on every other page. Problem is, I have about 60 pages and it takes forever to go through each one and de-select the new module ( I only want the new module to be visible on the front page only )

Is there an easy way to do this ?

If these are for new modules that you're manually editing then choosing the option "Update All Pages" to be "No" is the best solution. If these are for modules that are imported from a .module file.... uhm, I'll have to import one to see what happens, I can't recall off the top of my head.

thanks, you actually solved the problem ! I forgot to select 'no'... I deleted the module, re-installed it and set it to not update, and it works fine now.
