Hiding forum from non-registered visitors?

Is there a way to hide the main forum index from visitors?

I'm also running vBadvanced.

I don't actually want to hind the forum index, I just want to know if I can force people to be registed members to view it.

You can set your permissions to not allow guests to view the forums, but that would affect the CMPS too.
