CMPS blank Screen and other problems

Ok

Had 3.0.7 and CMPS and Gallery working great. I decided to upgrade to 3.5.1 since doc said it was easy.

Well, I know think I am going to lose my mind.

Problems so far
- Avators on CMPS don't work (postbit revert solution does not work since I have never changed it, Avatar director change does not work I just keep getting

We attempted to write a test file to .images/customavatars, but we were unsuccessful. Please verify that the web server has write/delete permissions for this path.
I have changed the CHMD to 777, so I have no clue way that does not work.

- the gallery navbar issue (does not link from gallery properly).

- and now I get blank CMPS pages. I have to clear my cookies to reset and close the broswer before I can see the page again

- also loginning in takes me directly to the forum, instead of keeping me on the portal page the way it used to.

Help please.

Try './images/customavatars' for the Avatar File Path option and 'images/customavatars' for the URL to Avatars option. If that doesn't work, please let me know what those options are currently set to.

Can you post the code you're using in your navbar template for this?

Can you post a link directly to your CMPS page? I tried finding a link to it on your site, but I didn't see one.

Does it redirect you to the forum home if you login from another page (ex: showthread.php), or only from the CMPS page?

I have uninstalled CMPS, and reverted everything back to:

- a working 3.5.1
- a working gallery 1.0.1 (except for links)

So for CMPS
I am going to reinstall CMPS tonight and see if I can get it working again.

For the Gallery
I am not sure if you mean the gallery, or the forum navbar. So I attached both.
