Just Installed - Board Broken. Please help.

Just installed the lastest 2.x version in vB 3.0.6.

Board is frozen. Admin panel works fine, but board is frozen.

Please help.

(back in a minute)... got the original board to work by moving things back to normal... for now...

Update:

Double checked everything. All looks great, but when I move cmps_index.php to index.php and change

Forum Home Page Options --> Script Name for Forum Home Page

to something else since the forums run in the root directory....

Everything breaks.... freezes, etc.

There's no way that changing those settings would break anything or "freeze" your board. What are you changing the settings to?

Thanks for the reply. The settings are not freezing the board, the board freezes regardless of the settings mentioned. I was just being complete in my posts, to the extent possible.

The problem seems to be related to database query timeouts and cookies or cache. For example, if I simply run http://site/cmps_index.php the same thing happens. The browser no longer works on the board. Delete cookies, delete cache, and wait some number of minutes, and the board works again. I am talking about the perspective of the installer/admin... BTW.
