CMPS missing stuff...

vB 3.5.1 with CMPS 2.0 and vBA Gallery 1.0.1

Problem 1. I cannot seem to get the Current poll module to display at all.

Problem 2. vB shout has dissapeared since I installed CMPS, I have now removed vB Shout so it doesnt conflict with anything else.

I have other problems to fix but want to get these working first:). I cannot seem to find any info on search, but I am a noob at this! :D

I have managed to get the poll option working but still have problems with shout. Any tips on where i should be looking?

Unfortunately I have not played around at all with vB Shout yet. Could you provide a link for it? If it's a no-touch installation I'll put up on my test site to see what I can do with it.

Thx KW802:) I dont know what happened but it was working ok until i installed cmps. I reinstalled it (after fiddling for hours with 1st install:( ) and it worked first go:)

I got the script changes from a post here but dont understand what you mean by a 'no-touch' installation. All is good now! :)

Admin CP => vBa CMPS => Edit Modules => Current Poll

Scroll down on the page until you see the settings and either choose a thread or forum to pull your poll from.

Brian......i did what you've told me but the poll it still does not appere on my index.php.

in the "current poll option" at "Current Poll Threads" i had inserted some threads from my forum tht it should appeare on in the poll and after that i've selected from the "Polls Forum(s)" a forum that contains the poll content ( a forum tht contains 2 threads).

Is this ok?Or what should i do to make the phorum work. i've tried to insert the "today's birthday" to but the same thing....it doesn't appeare on the index page.

if u can...please give me a hand, couse i don't know what to do.

Do the threads that you've selected contain a poll? You also cannot choose a forum to pull threads from if you've chosen specific threads.

this is an example (in the main page of the forum(index.php) i've created a forum with the name "xxxxx" and in this forum i've created 2 threads one "yyyy" and one "zzzzzz" .... but this 2 threads do not contain any polls).
do i have to create poll in them ? ......if the threads do not contain any polls the poll that i want to appeare on the index.php will not appeare?

Well, it is a bit hard to pull a poll if one doesn't exist. ;)

man i've iserted a poll in a thread an in the poll section in da admin panel i went to edith thread (for the poll) an only that one was selected.........BUT STILL NOTHING HAPPEND........NO POLL:mad: what the ......can i do?
