Install gone wrong

I just tried installing vbCMPS and I changed all the files exactly like it said when I got to the final step of running the install file I got this error though :(

Anyone able to tell me what happend?

I just followed the instructions and even tried changing the direction address in the index like it says in the FAQ.

It seems like the path you specific in the cmps_index.php is wrong, make sure it point to the forum directory where the global.php file is located.

You dont need to edit anything in vbacmps_install.php

Yeah I did not edit anything in vbacmps_install.php. I did edit two files in dreamweaver tho before moving to notepad and I read another post saying they did it in notepad and it worked but in dreamweaver it didnt (maybe dreamweaver addes some lines or something).

So I will try that.

Also, I believe I directed it properly in the cmps_index.php file. It is in just the /forum dir and i tried that and then i tried the full path from the info.php like it says to do in the FAQ.

Dreamweaver add blank spaces at the end of the file that sometimes messes up scripts.

Zach: I said edit the cmps_index.php not the install file: vbacmps_install.php, lol

The only issue I see is that it says to edit a file "In your /forum/admincp/index.php file" but the forum has a admin dir with an index but NO admincp dir at all (the vba file of course has an admincp dir but I dont move it 'til after modifying the files).

Is that right?

I went through the whole proccess again and VERY slowly to make sure I didnt make any mistakes. I used notepad instead of dreamweaver.

I now get this error on the same last step (install step).

Use wordpad or aleast make sure the "wrap text" thing is off in np...I dunno if that helps or not but thought I'd add it since I had a few issues myself with that before.
