Hi all,

I just got vb3.5.1 and vbadvanced. after installing, my forums do not show anymore. I've searched through the settings but cannot see anything. any suggestions?

well I thought the forums are listed down the center column. The headers and names and such. I dont show any. http://www.spin-stream.com/forums , I cant find out how to make them show, or am I just loosing it here. Thanks for any help

I would say you have something screwy in your module settings. Have you made any changes to your templates?

no changes, only changed the graphic image at the top. I found this thread http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25 and tried it, doesn't work for me. I know the answer has to be right in front of me. I can either have my forums back, or only vbadvanced showing.

I would start my disabling all modules and start adding one at a time to see which one may be causing the problem.

ther not linked for some reason. you can go to http://spin-stream.com/forums and get the forums. Then http://spin-stream.com/forums/cmps_index.php and you'll get the vbadvanced without forums.

IT does now becuase I turned off vbadvanced.... if I have it on, I only et vbadvanced and no forums. If I cant get help here, why would I upgrade and purchase products from this place *sigh

I'll probably go back to my old forums

whoa......

turn it on so we can see whats happening. What do you mean? When you click the forum link you get a blank page?? You may just need to edit your navbar......need more info other then forum doesnt work.

I think you may be a little confused about what the CMPS does. It does not automatically replace the forum's index page. It's generally used as a separate portal page that your visitors will see before entering the forum's index page. If you want your forums to be shown "within" the CMPS blocks though there are instructions on how to do this at the follow link:
