When im trying to update the news section with a new entry, lets say im adding a picture which I want to show on frontpage.

This works fine.

However, if I add a link to that picture, the image wont show in frontpage, but will show when giong to "read more" (ive tested both html, bbcode)

http://www.stormrage-eu.net (is the site)

Cheers,

Is it possibly being cut off by the 'Maximum characters per post' setting?

ie: You can choose how many characters a News Post will display before people need to click Read More.

Try increasing that value (and ensure the http code for the image is within the first x characters of the post.)

Forgot to mention that I did test that... was one of the first things I tested.....

Didnt matter still same problem... with a link in the image.. it never showed... without a link it worked with both bb/html.. didnt matter which......

hence my question.. Bug or feature..... and if its a bug, i find it a big/bad one....enabled/disabled wysiwyg to, no difference...

example in html.. and bbcode....

<a href="alinkhere"><img src="somelinktoimagehere"></a>

to

[ url="somelinkhere" ] [img ]somelinktoimagehere[ /img ] [/ur l]

It works if i remove link parts.....
Am I doing something wrong or....... Feel free to test it on your system... if you want to test it on mine... register and send me a PM and ill give you access....

I've just tested it on my personal site to be sure and had no problems. What exactly does it show when you try to add a link?

If you go to my site you see the latest news there.. with the dog.. image.. if i add a link to that image, nothing shows.. just "Read more"

Very strange. I've never heard of anyone having problems like that, but if you'd like to submit a support ticket via the Members' Area here I'll be glad to take a look.
