Hi, I followed all the instructions located here (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=158887) at vBulletin.com, but I cannot figure out how to edit it since I know vBA uses a different skin from the one uses by the vB forum itself. In fact, using the code as it is, nothing is displayed. I'm pretty sure the problem is that of the skin difference I've just told.
Can you help?
I would also like to choose the forum the threads displayed are in.
[Just before you ask, I'm doing all this thing since I am not able to put the Recent Thread plugin (the one native of vBA) freely on the layout, without using blocks. So I'm trying a side way to obtain what I wish.]

As far as I know there's not any reason that wouldn't work if you make the changes to your adv_portal template. And the CMPS does use the same skin as your forums, so that wouldn't have anything to do with the problem.

I created a second skin and modded it specifically for the vBA homepage.

Did you make the changes to that 2nd skin? Other than that I'm not really sure why you would be having problems.

Yes I did that, but that doesn't work... are there any other ways?:(

Sorry, but I've never used that code so I'm not really sure what the problem would be.

But I guess there is another way, another code...

There are other ways to do it, but it would require some knowledge about PHP and such in order to adapt another hack so that it would work.

I wouldn't know specifically, but I'm sure there are some at vb.org.
