Info Center Module

I want to create a center module so that I can update users on latest news...I do not wnt anyone to reply and I need it to be easy to change or update the content. Is this possible with an existing module?

Any reason you couldn't use the news module and just set up the permissions on your news forum so others can't reply to the threads?

Silly question...but where would I add news to the forum??

When you select a forum to pull threads from in the news module it will automatically pull any threads from that forum and display them in the news section.

Hi Brian,
All I want to do is place a notice, greeting in a top, center module, maybe a graphic from time to time. Do I just create a regular module?! What code do I place in it?

The easiest way would probably be to create a new BB code module. Just set the options as you would like and enter the message you want displayed in the space provided.

One minor thing with the BB Code Module Options window...looks destored, as if though it can't locate the gif's for it.

Got it...all i did was upload the "editor" folder to the admincp folder.
