I created a new MySQL database in order to upgrade to vb3.5.1 and other programs. While trying to upgrade vblinks I somehow lost my links database info (categories, links, etc.). Is there a way to copy the links database tables from the original site database to the new one?

Yes, just copy all tables that start with links* and that should do the trick.

Thanks Brian. I haven't worked with PHPmyadmin that much but I figured out that you have to delete the tables in the new database that are empty. Then you can copy or move the tables with data over. It worked great. All is up and running.
BTW I want to echo the sentiment about your developing a blog system. I would buy it today. One of my sites is a forum for the kids in our church and they all like to make their own blogs. :)
Have a blessed Christmas!
