Hi,
I got some questions...
1.How can moderators easily add new news to the index page?
2.How can I make my cmps_index.php have a title except html tags? (Site Name / URL / Contact Details doesnt effect the index page)
3.If I "add Page" how can I set the link? For example I want a link to the forum, like domain.com/forum right under the "Default / Homepage"

1). Just set up your news module, select the forum to pull news posts from, and then make sure you set your permissions for that forum to only allow moderators to make new posts.

2). I'm not entirely sure what you're asking here... The 'Homepage Title' under your main vB settings is what is used to display the title though.

3). If you're trying to add the link to your Site Navigation module, edit the module through your admin cp and add the link in the space provided for additional links.

thanks for your answer.

1. is clear now...about 2... if I change the title in my vBulletin settings I just see the "*MyTitle* - Powered by vBulletin" on /forum/index.php and not on /cmps_index.php ( the title is just empty) .

About 3, now it shows up like this:

» Home
> Forum

As if "Home" is the Parent point...can I make them look the same?

2). Have you modified your adv_portal template at all? As long as you haven't changed that template then it should show whatever you enter for your 'Homepage Title' option as the title for that page.

3). Make sure you have the 'level' option for that link set to either 0 or 1.

about 2...I've everything exactly modified as described. And I don't find any "Homepage Title" option in my vBulletin options.

Ok thank you...I was just looking for 'Homepage Title' so that's why I didn't find it.

Yea, I realized that after I made the post, so had to go back myself and see if they use the phrase 'Title' or 'Name'. :)
