How do I add them so they show new posts as they do in the forums?

Currently there is not an option to display the status icons with news posts.

It's possible, but not currently an option, and as far as I know nobody has posted a hack for it yet.

I'd make an attempt at this but I'm struggling to figure out what the call-tag even is or where I can even snag or tweak some of the info I find on the forum's ages/templates.
