we are upgrading our VB from 3.0.7 to 3.5.2, but we are doing a completely fresh install as we modded the old one and dont want to break it etc
The problem is that we have the VBAdvanced hooked up to the old forums, is it possible to import to a fresh VBA install? What other options do i have?
many thanks Guys

There's not really any options to import anything. Have you tried upgrading a test forum to see if your modifications will carry over? There's not that much of a difference between the vB 3.0 and vB 3.5 versions, so you shouldn't have many problems with the upgrade.

Thanks for the reply Brian,
We are going to import the complete database to the new install, see what happens, it wont affect anything as its clean etc, but i will post the findings.

After you upgrade the copied DB to 3.5.2 then install the 3.5.x version of CMPS and when you run the install program choose the 'upgrade' option.
