Just thought I'd say thanks to Brian for creating such a great product. One of the reasons for me not moving to vB3, was because I was waiting for myvbindex to be ported over. Obviously I got more than expected with vBadcaned CMPS, which is truely a great product. It's versatile, modular and has a strong support community.
It's very refreshing to find a developer who also knows how to support his product and do it well. Too many take criticism the wrong way and don't take it as an opportunity to actually discover users requirements and improve upon it. The times I've seen other people at vB.org loose it with the author because of a problem that existed, whether related to the hack or not. I think people need reminding from time to time, that hack add-ons and products like this are offered for free and often take countless hours to produce. The last thing the authors want is someone laying into them because they didn't follow the instructions properly, or even if the author themselves made a mistake - which we all do!! Hardly a way to motivate them.
I'm not sure about anybody else, but I think Brian deserves a big thanks for his efforts. Whilst Brian offers his product for free, I'm sure he'd appreciate any contribution you others could make, no matter how small. Let's keep him motivated.
