VBPORTAL or VBADVANCE

I am currently in the process of upgrading a fairly large site from vbulliten 3.0.7 to 3.5.2 and currently running vbportal and have been really happy with it. I was told that since I am going to upgrade I should swtich over to vbadvance instead of vbportal. Can I have everyones opinion that had used both and tell me if I should stick with vbportal or move over to vbadvance and why to either....

Also does vbadvance have a built in banner ad system like vbportal and how does it compare?

Since you're posting this on the vBadvanced support site of course any answers you receive will recommend CMPS.

Personally I'd go back to whomever told you to switch and ask them "why?" since vBPortal does have a vB 3.5.x version available.

Keep in mind as well that you should be able to install both on your system to take them both for a "test drive" and see which you like best. :)
