News goes straight to archive...?

Hello, I'm in the middle of setting up my portal. I think I have everything set, but when I post new news in the forum, it goes straight to my archive without going to news column first. Any suggestions?

Did you make sure you have the forum ID set to the correct news forum? And did you activate the news module?
Also a tad off subject you seem to have the path to your clear.gif image wrong.
Double check those things, those are the only things I can think of that would cause the news to not show as news on the portal.
