Home and Forum links on navbar

what code would i install? to have the forum link on my navbar in my hame page?...and like wise for the home link on my navbar for my forum navbar?

i've been looking for this and i have been able to find it

so far i have these links on my navbar

usercp, faq, memberlist, newpost, search, flashchat, and login

so naturally im missing the forum, and home

Could you post the response? I found another thread but the instructions, once I followed them simply did not work.
