Sidebar modification help.......

So I tried doing the modifications for the sidebar to show up on the forums and whatnot, but when I edited the file for it to show up in, then upload the file, the sidebar..................well, it shows up, but screws everything up in the process. For example, I applied the code to the forum/index.php to show up on the forum home, but when I refreshed my page, the sidebar was all the way at the bottom and the forums were half the width they should've been. Any ideas?

Make sure your 'Custom Page Content' module is at the top of the page and in the center column. If that doesn't help then the problem would most likely be related to your style.
