Slow Loading HP

I"m not the first to post this but:

www.bigsoccer.com/forum loads fast
www.bigsoccer.com/forum/usercp.php loads fast
www.bigsoccer.com using vbacmps hangs for 2-3 seconds and then loads

all features are turned off including sub, ratings checks, etc etc.

thoughts?

Seems to be loading fine when viewing as a guest. If you're viewing the page as an admin and have the Quick Moderation module turned on then that could be the cause since that module can slow things down. Can you check the page as a regular registered user and see if it still loads slowly?

yes to admin but no to quick mod. only: news, latest posts, archive, navbar, poll

i still get the hang 2/3 of the time or more as guest. we have a monster server setup. regular pages are fast.

I'm still not seeing a problem as a guest. Considering the size of your forum though, you may want to upgrade to v2.1.0 of the CMPS since there have been a few new optimization options added. If it still seems slow to you after upgrading and you'd like to submit a support ticket via the Members' Area here then I'll be glad to take a look at things for you.

huge improvement. we have a huge site so that must have something to do with it. nice work cleaning it up.
