I posted this question on vBulletin.org and I have yet to receive a response back yet. So, since the error is with vBadvanced, I figured I would post here. My original post from vBulletin.org is posted below:

Problem...i am using this template with vBulletin AND vBadvanced. If you go to my site, you will see that the header image is not being found in the correct location and the navbar links that you have imaged in do not work. The main problem is that they are not finding the FORUM part of the URL.

Its like "www.[domainname].com/memberlist.php" where it should be "www.[domainname].com/FORUM/memberlist.php"

So, my site is: www.fosa-gw.com

The original link to my post on vBulletin.org is the following: http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=105746

It does not matter if you are not a member, I just put it there for reference.

I know that there is an error SOMEWHERE in either the style ".xml" file or with vBadvanced. If you look at the broken image files, they are looking for images in the wrong place. When you go to my forum link [www.fosa-gw.com/forum], you can see the image properties and where the images are located on my server. I need the vBadvanced coding to look for the images in the same directory that the forum does by default. Also, my header has broken links. That is clearly explain though in my quote above.

If someone could please help me I would very much appreciate it.

You're site's closed right now, so I can't really see much. Please let me know once you've opened it back up.

Admin CP => vBa CMPS => Default Settings

Go there and copy the filenames listed in your Navbar Replacements option over to your Header Replacements option.

my newpost link isn't working. my pictures didn't work either but i copied the file over to the root directory. i know there should be a way i can get it to work fin inmy forums directory i did the entered the correct path wen i installed. so i don't know why the pics didn't show up. they onl show up now because i cippied the images folder to the root. i put search.php in the header section but that didnt' take care of the problem.

All of your links seem to be working fine for me... As for the images, please see the FAQ forum.

you have to click the new post link in the priavate message notification area. http://www.betadbruhs.com/search.php?do=getnew

that's the link it points too but it should point to

http://www.betadbruhs.com/forums/search.php?do=getnew

i don't think you would see the link because u are a guest. but when i am logged in i see the following picture. and when i click on new post it tries to go to the root for the file instead of forums folder

I'm assuming the newposts link is part of a hack/plugin? If so, you would need to alter the code for that hack and add your forum's URL in front of "search.php".

I'm having the same problem. I installed a skin called Girl Talk. Now the buttons I had installed in the navbar for the forums and the chat are gone. The style looks good in the forums but in the vba it is all screwed up, no headers, buttons, nothing. I copied the files over in default settings -> all styles but still did not fix the navbar.

the website is www.brides2wives.com

It is set to the VB Default skin, if you go to forums and switch skins though, you will see the problem.

Have you tried the suggestions in the FAQ forum regarding broken images?

Yes but that didn't help any. What I finally did was setup the new skin as a child to the default skin. Now the only problem is making the new skin adopt the navbar from the default skin. You can see how it looks now

www.brides2wives.com

I already copied all the file names from the navbar to the header but it hasn't fixed the navbar

I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what you mean by "adopt the navbar".

Well, I added a Forum/Home button to the vbulletin navbar following an example posted here on the site, I also installed flashchat which can be accessed by the "chat" button on the vbulleting navbar.

This Navbar is easily viewed and accessed through the Default Vbulletin skin. When I installed the new skin, it showed the normal vbulletin buttons but not the ones I'd added before.

When I first couldn't get the graphics and modules to appear correctly with the new skin, I followed your guides and faq to correct the image paths in the CMS CP and by running the install file once more. It still did not correct the issue. Maybe it had something to do with the CMS being installed in the server root directory and the forum is in /root/forums.

I was reading up on vbulletin.com and I learned that A child Style can inherit the settings of a parent style so I made the new skin a Child to the Default. That corrected the buttons and body images. But the Navbar problem remains in that the new skin replaces the customized navbar of the default skin with its own. Also the header graphics in the CMS is broken. It shows correctly in the forum, but not in the Portal/Home Page.

Here are Pictures of both the Default and the New skin and you can see the changes in the Navbar.

Notice the Navbar and the Buttons, This is how I want it to look

This is the New Skin and as you can see the Navbar Changed and no Header
http://www.brides2wives.com/NewSkin.JPG

In the Forum, the Navbar also changed but the graphic header is visible

For the navbar problem, just revert your navbar template in your new style.
As for the header image, Admin CP => Style Manager => All Style Options => Image Paths => Title Image
Make sure you have that set to the full URL to the image. If that doesn't help then you may need to edit your header template and change the URL in there.

i'm having the same problem, but if i do that, then the images don't show up on the forums...
how do i make it so it works on both!?!?
(and i don't wanna just make a copy of the images...i want a more permanent solution)
