vbadvanced not as a homepage

Has anybody here used vbadvance strictly in their forums directory, rather than making it their home page? I like the features in this product and think I may install it, but I don't necessarily want it as a homepage.

Just thinking out loud here, but has anybody else done this? Would it be a bad idea?

Please post in the CMPS forums next time if you have a question about the CMPS.
The file can be placed pretty much anywhere on your server, and does not necessarily have to be used as your homepage.
