Does anyone know how to do the following:
1 server, 1 vbulletin database, but be able to have, site1.com/cmps.php and site2.com/cmps.php where the two sites would have different cmps.php setups and different content but pulled from the same database.

Well I dont think what they are doing is 'Exactly" what I want.
The difference being: site1.com/cmp.php and site2.com/cmp.php
All of the vbulletin/database files are located on site1.com
Then on site2.com, it would just pull information the vbulletin from site1 and any other pages that I would create just for site2.
I think I'm needing some thing like what Keith wanted as well. I have one site, www.minirealms.com that I want to have two different portals for. A local game store wants to use my already established, international forum to as their forums as well.
What I would like to have is one portal that the local guys use/see that has info that they would be interested in. The other portal would be for the non-local/international guys.
Is some thing like that possible at all?

Keith - I don't think something like that is going to be possible unless you set up some type of mirror for the database.
Mobo - Did you check the link in the 2nd post?

Take a look at www.boards.ie I don't know what they are using but they have a few portal sites off one vb forum.
Brian, I did look at that thread. Not sure if that is what I'm looking for. I’m not real good at this code stuff, and it looks like they are just having different headers loaded up.
What I want is a CMPS on the gamershave.com site that pulls from my vB on minirealms.com that keeps it's current CMPS intact.
The local store CMPS needs to remain on it's own domain, cause the store owner does not want to confuse any of his customers by redirecting them immediately to a mini realms domain. He has no problem that they switch domains when they go to look at the forums proper. Just not before then. He plans to have a few other "pages" all on his domain that he wants to link to off of his portal on his domain.
Would that other thread do what we need it to?
Thanks for any help.

Is the gaming store hosted on the same server as your site? If so, then the instructions in that thread should work for you. If not, I think you're out of luck.
The game store had not picked a sever yet. So it is possible to get their site hosted on the same server. So the only thing is it has to be on teh saem server, but can be a different domain?
