Help with news Module

In the default news module is there a way to make it point towards announcements made in the ACP and displayed in any particular forum? I would like it to just show announcements. Thanks.

I'm willing to help you with the announcements module if you're able to provide a bit more information as to what's not working. Otherwise I think you're out of luck as vb announcements aren't stored in a forum.

I am using the default News module that came with CMPS as my display of announcements, I went into it and directed it to look at my announcements thread but I want it to display my actual announcements that I make, the ones that are made in the ACP under the announcements area. Is that possible.
