"new posts" count & private forums

hi, i use vb 3.5.3 and vbadvanced cmps 2.0.0

i got some private forums, who only appear to mods and admins. in the admin-panel i configured the forums, that the posts in this forum don't count for the total posts number of each user, who can post there.

but i got a problem: at the portal-page, these posts are count as "new posts" for every normal user!
i want that posts in special forums are not count in the "new posts".

thanks in advance. i hope you know, what i mean. sorry for my bad english.

The new posts count will always count every post because there is not a good way to determine the forum permissions without adding additional strain on the server.

Posts awaiting moderation and soft deleted posts also count towards the "new posts".
