I don't know where this thread should be put. But I have a module in my cmps that is set up for donations. But some of my users can not see the donation button I have created. It is a simple button and I can not understand why they can not see it. One users told me that he has popup ads blocked. I can not understand why someone having there popup ads blocked would not allow them to see the button. Here is the code I am using for the button.
<a href="http://www.whiteblaze.net/index.php?page=atdatabase">
<img src="http://whiteblaze.net/forum/images/sponsor/pp-donate.gif" border="0"></a>
Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?

Try changing the link to "http://www.whiteblaze.net/forum/images/sponsor/pp-donate.gif" or just "/forum/images/sponsor/pp-donate.gif".

I have this command that I am trying here first:
<img src="$vboptions[homeurl]/forum/images/sponsor/pp-donate.gif" border="0" />
If that does not work I will try your recommandation. But this command is basically the same as what you are saying. I am just waiting for the user to get back to me now. I am crossing my fingers.

Brian or anyone that can help please.
I have heard back from one of my users and it seems that Norton is what is causing this. Here is what my users said:
The setting that enabled/disabled the buttons is actually the Norton Internet Security setting. I used the Internet Security Toolbar to unblock ads and the buttons appeared. There is a separate setting to block popups, which did not make a difference on the page. I will look to see if I can figure out what is in the coding for the buttons that the software is rejecting.
My question to this is. Why are the buttons not appearing when they unlock ads? They are not ads and if so what classifies them as ads?

I really have no idea how Norton works, so I probably won't be able to be of much help. The only suggestion I could give would be to rename the 'sponsor' folder to something that doesn't sound like it could be related to an ad, and do the same with your pp-donate.gif file.

That was my thought exactly. I am trying that as I type this.

That was what it was. The directory title was what Norton was using to block the image from showing up. I changed it from "sponsor" to something else and it works for my Norton users now.
