When my users come to my main address, (such as www.yahoo.com), i want it to have the CMPS page, but my forums are in a subdomain (such as forums.yahoo.com) is there a way to set this up?

Much thanks.

As long as both are on the same server, then it will not be a problem.

Well i was looking for more of an explanation, but i am glad it is possible! :D

Would i set the cmps_index.php as the index.php in the root? at that point, how would i tell it where the forums were?

Yes, once you finish setting the CMPS up you would just rename it to index.php. I'm not sure I follow you on your question on how to tell where the forums were... There is an option in your Admin CP to set the URL to your forums, which the script uses to determine where the location of your forums are.
The only other thing you might want to note is that you will *most likely* experience some problems with cookies because of the subdomain. There's a post in the FAQ forum under the 'Troubleshooting & Problems' forum that covers how to fix this though. ;)
