icon problem

I have two issues, I need a little help.
1.My portal work good. I open the forum (http://webpage.com/portal/forums) but i want to go back to portal and i need to write again http://webpage.com/portal.

I need a button called Home on top menu which open the portal page again. http://home.wplink.net/~yo2lux/1.PNG

What need to do to add this button ?

2. Another question.. On index forum page i don't see the following icons (at last post):

1). If you check the hacks forum here there are a couple of posts with instructions on how to add a home/forum link to your navbar.

2). Edit your recent threads module through the admin cp and you should see options for those things.
