news and news archive question

Hi,
I was wondering if there's a way to make the news module and the news archive show results from different forums. For example, I want the news module to pull from forum 1, while the news archive should pull from forum 2.

Or, is there a better way to accomplish what I want to do?

There's not an option for that, though you could always disable your news archive, copy the recent threads module, then use that to display some threads from a different forum more like the archive.
