I would like to use your system to display the top posts in my home page not the forum page. I would also like to display possibly the latest poll. Thats all, aside from that I would like to keep my portal looking the way it is. Will this create a conflict with all the other scripts running (i.e. does this system have to run on a page of its own or can it be used with other php scripts in a portal page)?
Please answer me urgently, since I would like to install this ASAP if it can work.

well - the only way to know that for sure is to know your code.
vBa CMPS is very adaptable and can be worked to fit almost any desire.
What is your "current portal"? And how well do you have it integrated with vB3?

My current portal is www.omdur.com, and my discussion board link is www.omdur.com/board. WHat I wanna do is keep my frontpage as it is and have the latest 3-4 topics display on the front pageand maybe the latest poll. But the webpage should remain the same. I might have some PHP scripts running in different parts of my front page can that be done. Or does the whole homepage have to be Vbadvanced based?

The whole homepage becomes vbAdvanced. You can run vba in conjunction with your current portal but the topics would be on the vbA pages only.
There are scripts that might help you but you will have to search around for them at places like vbulletin.org.
